The Lodge

There have been a lot of inquiries about what effect WPVM’s changing management and changing relationship to MAIN will have on the Ooze Out Program’s extensive travel budget. Do not be concerned. Before moving forward on their paths, both parties made sure that the Ooze Out Program could go where we need to go (Thanks Jason!, Thanks Wally!). As a result of these efforts and generous grant from our sister station WPVJ(apan), we will be broadcasting live from Transylvania County NC in honor of the Fall Solstice and All Hallows Eve, for the entire month of October. That’s right, we will be broadcasting analog from a secret location . Tonight we are securing the last of the special broadcast equiptment, a series of cardboard tubes, webs and jems, at the lodge. While we’re away you can enjoy an encore broadcast of our August 19th 2008 episode filled with heavy underground tape sessions. This show features Byron Browne, Ooze Out correspondent for the Five Points region of Asheville. Hear more from Byron and meet the newest member of the Ooze family, Shaggy the Ooze Out Intern, during our month long Ooze Out Halloween Party, filled with surprises and spooky underground sounds.

My very best to you,

Veronika will talk to Ron Ainspan, about the I-26 Connector.
