The Doctor Awesome Show airs each Wednesday on WPVM from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. If you haven’t tuned it yet, you may be missing “the biggest self-absorbed trainwreck” you’ve ever heard.

This week Jason interviews Nick Prueher, writer for The Colbert Report and one co-host (along with Joe Pickett) of The Found Footage Festival, which will be making a stop in Asheville this Saturday as part of their 2008 tour. The Found Footage Festival is a showcase of strange, outrageous and profoundly stupid videos collected over the years by Nick and Joe. Find out what to expect at the show, how many videos are in the collection, what qualifies a video for screening in front of an audience and more.

Stephanie and Jason finally get around to having their wine-tasting, answer listener e-mails, dish out inaccurate and dangerous medical advice, share recipes and jam out to a playlist of all new music this week.

SPECIAL : JOY OF VIVRE ! PARIS is BACK ON THE AIR !

September 24, 2008 by onair

Joy is an emotion of great happiness.and I am glad to cease the strike . The Paris of the South is officially back on the air
.Yes , the strike is over , volunteerism is , once again,  the highlight of our station . We are ready to hear your creative part .
Come on in ! Step by step we will build up the most representative station in our region . You can’t  get bored tuning to 103.5 fm . Our station is and will be , more deeply,  the central cross meeting place of the world interests . Asheville is unique , and each of our  program is  unique.
You like this station because  you , like me,   are fighting this invisible submissive glue , this  voice inside your head that always pull you away from being yourselves .  That small fear that impeach every path you take  to pure joy and hapiness . You don’t want to be a small player in life isn’t ?
life  is too short to be a ninkenpoop and  full of it …

Are we ready ? yes!
A community radio mean that we all share something in common : first  the passion to communicate . Some of us are better than other to communicate , some of us want to use this marvrelous tool to share knowledge , ideas  and passion, other want just to feel that they are not alone. It’s  fine too isn’t ?
So to celebrate this new start , i did choose  the best of pure  joy . From passioned songs to real explosion of life , I want to celebrate this date and share with you my dear listeners the best of joy .

Sorry !
