Dear listeners let me wish you first the best of what can be this year 2009 .
I am back from Paris and I am glad to be again in Asheville . I want to thank those at the station who played the programms I had prepared during my absence .
In Today ‘s show we will play a special Serge Gainsbourg , courtesy of Radio France International . Serge Gainsbourg would have been 80 years old this year and France’s airwaves are alive with his inimitable sound. Just why does the man they called l’ homme à tête de chou (the man with a cauliflower head ) continue to fascinate?
We will also discover together the work of another Serge , Serge Reggianni .
