Tune in to Listen 2 Women today, Thursday, July 3 from 4-5 pm for a show dedicated to the Faces of Asheville Portrait Documentary Project. Shelley and Shantron will have Jen Bowen, Visionary Director, and Spyce, Volunteer Coordinator, in the studio to talk about their project.
Faces of Asheville has documented over 300 diverse residents of the greater Asheville area through individualized portraits. These photos will be presented to the City of Asheville as a gift.
To help raise the funds to complete the project, there will be a benefit fundraiser for Faces of Asheville at Roestta’s this Saturday, July 6 from 5-9pm. There will be food, live entertrainment, including local band The Buckerettes.
