Interview with local musician, Wind, about making music with bonobo primates and Peter Gabriel

Every Tuesday from 2-4 PM on WPVM, Afternoon Slacken with Easy Mark contains interviews, commentaries, and the unique sound of musical mash ups. (Mash ups are more than one song ‘synced’ or played together at the same time.) Each show also features a Crossover Segment (to highlight another WPVM community radio show). This week, cross on over and learn more about Pathways to the Sacred with Josh Jourdan.

Then stay tuned for music by and an interview with Wind, a local flutist and flute-maker. Wind tells us about his experiences making music at Georgia State University – with bonobo primates and Peter Gabriel. Wind has also performed at a Bonobo Conservation Initiative-event in New York City. This led to him being featured in the current issue of The New Yorker Magazine. According to one source, “Wild bonobos are happy, pleasure-loving creatures whose lifestyle is dictated by instinct and Mother Nature.”
