Collaborating with URTV
March 28, 2007 by onair“The Green Radio Bistro” airs on URTV Tuesday nights at 9pm. Starting January 24th “The Green Radio Bistro” also airs on WPVM Wednesdays at 1:00 pm. Tune onto and tune into either broadcast of a program that interviews experts on sustainability and the environment, as well as providing entertainment by local musical talent.

“Making Progress” at 6pm on Monday, April 2nd for interviews and reports on new groundbreaking air quality research to be conducted by UNC Asheville. They will be relating Western North Carolina’s air quality to global warming trends and energy policy, including plans for a new oil fired, carbon polluting power plant in Woodfin.
“Making Progress” at 6pm on Monday, April 9th for national and international news and public affairs with comic, satirist Barry Crimmins. They will also be discussing The Human Movement, a local that raises awareness about various progressive issues via lectures, political satire, art, and music.
“The Cut” at 10pm on Saturdays for the entire month of April. There will be live performances and interviews with local electronic musicians, who will be showcased throughout the month.
“Blows Against the Empire” at 11:30am on Friday, April 20th for an interview with Barrie Barton & Co, who will be presenting a music, poetry and dance performance ‘Holding Us,’ Thursday April 26th & Friday April 27th at the Diana Wortham Theater.
